Industry experts have said that 2013 will be a big year for the catastrophe bond market, adding that Bermuda will lead the insurance-linked securities sector, The Royal Gazette reported.

John Seo, managing principal at Fermat Capital Management L.L.C., said that

the cat bond market very soon "be close to $18 billion."

A big chunk of the issuance pipeline in yet to be processed, Mr. Seo added.
