Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced Tuesday that it had acquired Omaha, Neb.-based Brendis & Brendis Inc.
Brendis & Brendis Inc. provides employee benefit program consulting services for their employer group clients throughout the Midwest. Brendis & Brendis specializes in health and welfare strategic planning, plan design, risk assessment, employee communications and compliance.
Meanwhile, Hub International Ltd. announced Thursday that it has acquired a book of business from Northern Insurance, Inc., a Santa Fe, N.M.-based insurance brokerage firm. The acquired accounts will become part of the New Mexico operations of Hub International Insurance Services. This acquisition will result in two new Hub office locations in Santa Fe and Las Vegas, N.M.
The terms of both transactions were not disclosed.
