HAMILTON, Bermuda—Omega Insurance Holdings Ltd. said it has received several approaches that may lead to an offer being made to buy the company.
Hamilton, Bermuda-based Omega said last week that since the unsolicited offer it received from Guernsey-based Canopius Group Ltd. in January, it had received other approaches.
“Discussions with the parties concerned are at an early stage and there is no certainty that an offer will be forthcoming, nor as to the terms of any such offer,” Omega said in a statement.
Omega and Canopius operate syndicates at Lloyd’s of London, as well as other underwriting platforms.
