Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C. said insurance and reinsurance rates remain soft in most classes in which the brokerage operates, with the exception of offshore energy business.
In its interim management statement Tuesday, the London-based brokerage said opportunities in offshore energy business were restricted by a lack of capacity.
JLT said that, despite challenging market conditions, it was “on track to make financial progress for the year as a whole.”
