Berkshire Hathaway Specialty promotes Godhwani, Bresnahan

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance said Wednesday it has named Sanjay Godhwani and David Bresnahan to new executive leadership roles.
Mr. Godhwani, formerly executive vice president, has been appointed president, North America region. Mr. Godhwani, who is Boston-based, will be responsible for all North America region underwriting and underwriting support groups, customer and broker engagement, and BHSI’s global catastrophe engineering & analytics group.
Mr. Bresnahan, who was also formerly executive vice president, has been named global chief operating officer. Mr. Bresnahan, who is also Boston-based, will oversee real estate and administration, finance, audit information technology and operations through BHSI’s global platform.
BHSI promoted Angela Meyer to head of life sciences for North America in December.
