BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

The Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc. said Tuesday it has amended the vaccination policy for its annual conference and exhibition next month in San Francisco to align with recent COVID-19 policy changes made by the city’s health department.

The RISKWORLD conference is scheduled for April 10-13.

Under the new RIMS policy, attendees who are vaccinated and boosted or who are up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccinations but not yet eligible for the booster will not be required to produce a negative COVID-19 test result.

Attendees who will be required to produce a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 hours of entering San Francisco’s Moscone Center for a PCR test and within 24 hours for an antigen test include those who are vaccinated and eligible for the booster but have not yet received it; those who are not vaccinated for COVID-19; and international attendees or others who have received a COVID-19 vaccination that is not recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

COVID-19 testing will be available at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis April 9-10 for an administrative fee of $45.

RIMS said home testing kits will not be accepted as proof of a negative COVID-19. It also said it will not provide conference registration fee or accommodation refunds to individuals who test positive.

As a result of its policy change, RIMS has extended the RISKWORLD early-bird rate for a week past the original deadline of March 7.
