AssuredPartners buys Massachusetts agency

AssuredPartners Inc. said Thursday it has acquired Fred C. Church Inc., a Lowell, Massachusetts-based agency.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Fred C. Church reports $37 million in annualized revenue, AssuredPartners said in a statement. Its 160 employees will remain under the leadership of Mike Reilly, president and chairman, AssuredPartners said.
Randy Larsen, president of AssuredPartners, said the acquisition strengthens the brokerage’s footprint in New England, marking over $100 million in revenue for the region.
Lake Mary, Florida-based AssuredPartners is the 11th largest broker of U.S. business, according to the most recent Business Insurance rankings.
