CNA recruits former Farmers exec as finance chief

CNA Financial Corp. on Thursday named Scott Lindquist, a former senior executive at Farmers Group Inc., as chief financial officer.
Mr. Lindquist, who worked at the Zurich Insurance Group Ltd. personal lines unit for 13 years, will join CNA on Jan. 10, 2022, a CNA statement said.
He succeeds Larry Haefner, the insurer’s chief actuary, who served as interim CFO after Al Miralles left to join technology company CDW Corp. in September.
