Venbrook acquires Alpharetta Underwriters

Woodland Hills, California-based Venbrook Group LLC said Wednesday it has acquired Alpharetta Underwriters LLC, a specialty managing general agent that focuses on excess and surplus coverage for the construction industry.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Venbrook Group subsidiaries are involved in retail and wholesale brokerage, programs and claims services, it said in its statement.
Its E&S MGAs include ComStar General Solutions, in commercial real estate, and Cardigan General Insurance Services LLC, in commercial transportation, according to its statement.
