To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Ascot hires former Nationwide exec as head of financial institutions

Ascot Group said Tuesday it has named former Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. executive Peter Trochev as senior vice president and head of financial institutions.

Mr. Trochev will lead Ascot’s financial institutions strategy with a focus on expanding the range of products offered in the U.S., including management and professional liability products for asset managers, investment advisors and financial institutions.

Based in New York, Mr. Trochev will report to Matthew C. Kramer, CEO of Ascot U.S.

Mr. Trochev had been with Nationwide since 2008, most recently as leader of the financial institutions and fidelity divisions.

New York-based Ascot Group is owned by CPP Investments, a global investment management organization that invests the assets of the Canada Pension Plan. CPP Investments is the largest pension plan in Canada.
