Acrisure hires reinsurance broker from Guy Carpenter

Acrisure Re, the reinsurance division of Acrisure LLC, has hired former Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC executive Craig Darling to launch a Florida office.
Mr. Darling, a former Guy Carpenter managing director, will be executive vice president and office head at Acrisure Re.
Based in Melbourne, Florida, he will manage property/casualty lines of business in Florida and other parts of the southeastern United States, Acrisure said in a statement Monday. He will also join Acrisure Re’s North American executive team.
Mr. Darling will report to Acrisure Re CEO Guy Simon Hedley, the statement said.
