Beazley hires former HSBC exec as COO

Beazley PLC has named former HSBC Holdings PLC executive Troy Dehmann as chief operating officer, effective immediately.
Mr. Dehmann’s appointment follows the move of former COO Ian Fantozzi to lead Beazley’s digital business, the U.K.-based insurer said in a statement Tuesday.
Mr. Dehmann was most recently global COO for finance operations and core finance at HSBC. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions in the financial services sector, including banking roles at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan Chase in New York.
Based in London, Mr. Dehmann will also join Beazley’s executive committee.
