The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. said Monday it had named Carrie Brodzinski, formerly of Axa XL, a division of Axa SA, as chief underwriting officer within its global specialty business unit.
Ms. Brodzinski will be based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Hartford, Connecticut, and report to Adrien Robinson, head of global specialty insurance, the statement said Monday.
As chief underwriting officer at The Hartford, she will be responsible for all aspects of underwriting quality, governance and monitoring of The Hartford’s portfolio of products.
Ms. Brodzinski was most recently head of global underwriting management for the insurance segment at Axa XL and XL Catlin.
