AssuredPartners acquires Texas agency

AssuredPartners Inc. said Friday it has acquired Texas Associates Insurors Agency LP of Austin, Texas.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
TAI, which provides customized risk management and insurance plans for businesses and individuals in Texas, reports $10 million in annualized revenue.
Its 48 employees will remain under the leadership of TAI partners, including JD Steanson, Randy Reynolds, Gary Grissom, James Russell and Coy Sunderman.
Lake Mary, Florida-based AssuredPartners has over 7,500 employees located in offices throughout North America, London, Scotland and Belgium. This is its 16th acquisition this year.
AssuredPartners is the 12th-largest broker of U.S. business, with about $1.4 billion in annual brokerage revenue, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
