Arch backs Coalition in partnership

Cyber insurance and security company Coalition Inc. has embarked on a multi-year partnership with an Arch Capital Group Ltd. unit, the MGA and the insurer said Tuesday.
They said in a statement the partnership with Arch Insurance North America provides Coalition with long-term capacity for its U.S. and Canada cyber and technology, errors and omissions insurance programs with Arch Insurance North American insurers. No further details were provided.
San Francisco-based Coalition, which has acted as a managing general agent for Swiss Re Ltd. and Argo Group International Holdings Ltd., is also backed by Lloyd’s of London, and provides up to $15 million of cyber and technology insurance coverage in the U.S.
Shawn Ram, head of insurance at Coalition, said in a separate statement the company “is constantly seeking to diversify carrier partners.”
“We’re excited to continue our growth with all of our carrier partners and now Arch,” he said.
