Ardonagh forms North America reinsurance team

Ardonagh Specialty, the specialist, reinsurance and wholesale broking group of Ardonagh Group Ltd., is forming a North America reinsurance team to be headed by Nick Foden-Pattinson, Ardonagh Specialty said in a statement Thursday.
The reinsurance group will operate through Equinox (Re)Insurance Intermediaries, which is licensed in Connecticut and based in Greenwich, Connecticut, the statement said.
Mr. Foden-Pattinson, who will be president of Equinox (Re)Insurance, was most recently CEO of RFIB Americas, part of RFIB Group Ltd. He will also be president of Price Forbes Bermuda. Roland Pike will continue in his role as chief operating officer of Equinox (Re)Insurance.
“The need for specialty advice has never been more necessary as we head into a hard and difficult market,” Mr. Foden-Pattinson said in the statement.
