Alliant hires three from Truist for construction services posts

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. has hired Dale Harshaw, Rocky Qualin and Geoff Shelton from Truist Insurance Service Inc. as senior vice presidents in its construction services group, the Newport Beach, California-based broker said in a statement Monday.
All three will be based in Alliant’s San Diego office and work on surety and risk management for construction clients, the statement said.
Mr. Harshaw and Mr. Qualin report to Larry McMahon, executive vice president-surety manager at Alliant Insurance Services San Diego. Mr. Shelton reports to Dan Romain executive vice president operations at Alliant Insurance Services Los Angeles.
The hires come as “Construction activity continues to increase in the San Diego area,” Michael Cusack, co-COO of Alliant Specialty, said in the statement.
