Audrey Rampinelli receives RIMS lifetime achievement award

The Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc. on Thursday named its 2020 honorees and award winners, including the Harry and Dorothy Goodell Award for lifetime achievement in risk management.
The Goodell Award was presented to Audrey Rampinelli, CEO and co-founder of ONRamp Risk LLC, RIMS said in a statement.
Named in honor of RIMS’ first president, Harry Goodell, the award pays tribute to individuals who have furthered the goals of RIMS and the risk management discipline.
Larry Glasser, leader of the RIMS Broward County Chapter in Florida and director, risk management at Amerijet Holdings Inc. was the recipient of this year’s Ron Judd Heart of RIMS award.
The award pays tribute to the legacy of Mr. Judd, who served as RIMS executive director for 22 years. It honors individuals for outstanding performance in furthering risk management at the chapter level.
Katherine Dawal, manager, risk & insurance at K+S Potash Canada, was named RIMS Rising Star of the Year, which honors up-and-coming risk management professionals under the age of 35 or who have seven or fewer years of professional experience in the industry.
Ms. Dawal was honored for demonstrating “exceptional initiative, volunteerism, professional development, achievement and leadership potential,” RIMS said.
Mark Humphreys, vice president, litigation & risk management for Watt Cos., was the recipient of the Richard W. Bland Memorial Award, which was created by the RIMS Kansas City Chapter in 1974 to recognize dedication and commitment in legislation or regulation.
On Wednesday RIMS named Roxsann Wilson, vice president of risk management for Cardinal Health as its 2020 Risk Manager of the Year, while Jane Sandler, vice president global risk management for McKennon Corp. was inducted into the RIMS Risk Management Honor Roll.
