CAC Specialty names former Marsh exec senior vice president

CAC Specialty named former Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. executive Carrie O’Neil to the newly created position of senior vice president of financial lines legal and claims practice, the broker said in a statement Monday.
Prior to joining CAC, the Denver-based Ms. O’Neil spent nine months at Alliant Insurance Services Inc. She previously led the financial lines’ legal and claims team at JLT Specialty prior to its acquisition by Marsh & McLennan.
Last week, CAC appointed another former Marsh employee to a newly created senior vice president role in its environmental practice group.
