AssuredPartners makes Houston agency buy

AssuredPartners Inc. has acquired Houston Business Insurance Agency, the Lake Mary, Florida-based brokerage said in a statement Tuesday.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Houston provides property and casualty insurance for commercial businesses of all sizes with annual revenue estimated at $1 million, the statement said, adding the broker’s five employees will stay on under owner Dominique Renaud.
“We find partners who truly want a partner in return, and we are proud to have such a vast footprint in the ever-growing Houston marketplace,” AssuredPartners president and COO Tom Riley said in the statement.
