Willis Towers Watson hires global executive

Willis Towers Watson PLC has hired Christophe Meurier to be global head of financial solutions, effective July 1, recruiting him from GreenStars BNP Paribas SA, the broker said in a statement Friday.
He will be based in London and succeeds Paul Davidson, who will continue as the chairman of financial solutions, the statement said. Mr. Meurier will report to Adam Garrard, head of international.
Mr. Meurier was most recently CEO of GreenStars BNP Paribas SA, the political and credit risk insurance company, and was also head of insurance syndications at BNP Paribas, the statement said.
