BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Jane Tutoki

Longtime industry executive Jane Tutoki has stepped down as vice chair of Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. but will remain on the board of the firm as its first female director.

Ms. Tutoki joined Sedgwick last year after the Memphis, Tennessee-based claims management firm bought rival Cunningham Lindsey Group Ltd., where she was global CEO.

At Sedgwick, she helped manage the integration of the two firms and oversaw various corporate departments, including human resources, legal, information technology and public relations.

“The timing is just right (for the move),” she said in an interview Friday. “It makes sense for the company and for me personally. The integration is pretty much complete.”

Ms. Tutoki said she will likely take some time off, but she is looking at various other opportunities in the industry.

She began her career as a trial lawyer and went on to hold senior roles at various insurers, including Harford Financial Services Group Inc., American International Group Inc. and Zurich Insurance Group Ltd. before joining Cunningham Lindsey in 2014.

“Jane’s professional experience and perspective are truly unparalleled, and I’m so pleased that she’s become the first female member of Sedgwick’s board of directors,” said Dave North, chairman and CEO of Sedgwick, in a statement.
