Swiss Re appoints cyber executive

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions said Wednesday it has named Sandy Codding as global head of cyber and technology.
Mr. Codding was previously managing director for Marsh L.L.C.
Mr. Codding, based in Boston, is responsible for overseeing cyber and technology underwriting guidelines, rating methodology, distribution relationships, product sales and new product development, Swiss Re said in its statement.
Globally, he will focus on Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ offerings in small and middle markets, and will oversee a team of regional underwriters, the statement said.
Mr. Codding replaces François Brisson, who was named head of cyber and technology, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America and is based in Paris.
