Axis appoints chief strategy officer

Axis Capital Holdings Ltd. on Tuesday said it has appointed Linda Ventresca to the newly created position of chief strategy officer.
Ms. Ventresca, who previously served as chief transformation officer, will continue to lead Axis’ enterprisewide transformation program, Pembroke, Bermuda-based Axis said in a statement. The company said its corporate development and corporate communications teams will continue to report in to her.
Based in New York, Ms. Ventresca will report directly to President and CEO Albert Benchimol.
