BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Social media clip implying something’s still fishy in kitchen snags suit

Reality TV chef Gordon Ramsay is well known for his angry outbursts. Last week, he got a taste of his own medicine.

Mr. Ramsay and his producers have been slapped with a lawsuit by the owner of seafood restaurant Oceana Grill in the famous French Quarter of New Orleans. The restaurant was featured on a 2011 episode of Mr. Ramsay’s show “Kitchen Nightmares,” but a social media clip posted last week dredged up old memories of that episode, including a scene of the reality TV chef vomiting after inspecting the restaurant’s kitchen.

The social media clip implied that sanitary issues were still plaguing the restaurant, according to the lawsuit, which also accused the reality TV show’s producers of manufacturing fake scenes and fabricating problems to increase ratings.

“The problem we have is the fact that it’s so misleading,” Daniel Davillier, an attorney for Oceana Grill, told the New Orleans Advocate. “People think it’s something current when in fact it’s very old.”

The lawsuit claims defamation, seeks damages and asks Orleans Parish Civil District Court to block the use of the clip.

The majority of restaurants appearing on the show, which ended in 2014 after seven seasons, have closed, according to a 2014 newspaper analysis.

No sweet dreams here.
