BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
The Spencer Educational Foundation Inc., which supports risk management and insurance education with scholarships and grants for students, has debuted a new website and logo, the organization said Monday.
The website, www.spencered.org, is designed to provide a more visual platform to share the foundation’s mission and features Spencer Voices, a new part of the site highlighting stories and thought leadership articles.
The New York-based foundation shortened its name in the logo to Spencer as part of the branding initiative, the statement said, reflecting how many people refer to the foundation. For legal purposes, it will remain the Spencer Educational Foundation Inc.
“Our new logo provides a fresh, contemporary look to the foundation,” Adam Potter, Spencer’s marketing committee chair and CEO of Business Insurance, said in a statement. “Our new logo offers a nod to our past while, with bright, modern colors, it looks to the future. The updated mortar board, reinforces the foundation's involvement with industry education — both traditional and experiential — as well as its connection to students.”
The Spencer Educational Foundation Inc. said Monday that it will provide $5,000 grants to 40 companies that will allow the firms to hire summer risk management interns.
