Aon executives Christian, Page move into new roles

Aon P.L.C. said Wednesday that Dominic Christian has been appointed to the newly created position of global chairman of Aon Benfield, while Julie Page has been promoted to CEO of Aon UK Ltd., subject to regulatory approval.

Mr. Christian was most recently CEO of Aon UK Ltd., the firm’s U.K. risk management, insurance broking and reinsurance business, and executive chairman of Aon Benfield International, Aon said in a statement. He will continue to report to Aon President and CEO Greg Case.

Ms. Page will be responsible for the management and governance oversight of the Aon UK Ltd. business. She will report to Michael O’Connor, global CEO of Aon Risk Solutions, in her new role and will also continue in her current position as CEO of Aon Risk Solutions UK, reporting to John Cullen, CEO of Aon Risk Solutions EMEA, according to the statement.

Ms. Page was one of Business Insurance’s 2017 Women to Watch.
