Berkshire Hathaway launches accident and health insurance and services in Asia

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. said Monday that it has launched group personal accident, corporate travel and expatriate medical insurance in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Corporate travel and expatriate medical insurance combines coverage with 24/7 access to Berkshire Hathaway’s care and concierge services. These services include emergency medical, evacuation and repatriation assistance and medical referrals, Berkshire Hathaway said in a statement.
In addition, Berkshire Hathaway has named Singapore-based Kok Leong Koo underwriting manager, accident and health and Hong Kong-based Janus Law assistant vice president, accident and health.
