Edgewood Partners Insurance Center on Thursday said Timothy Ward has joined the broker's risk solutions practice in Stamford, Connecticut, as principal and casualty practice leader.
Mr. Ward previously was a senior vice president and leader of Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc.’s national desk within its casualty placement practice, San Francisco-based EPIC said in a statement.
He will report to EPIC risk solutions principal Mark Millard.
Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. on Tuesday reported consolidated revenue of $3.14 billion in the third quarter of 2016, an increase of about 1% from the $3.12 billion reported in the third quarter of last year, although its consulting division’s revenue was negatively affected, in part, by uncertainty over the U.K. vote to leave the European Union.
