BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Woodruff-Sawyer names CEO to succeed Rosson

Woodruff-Sawyer & Co. on Monday said Andy Barrengos will become CEO on Nov. 30.

Mr. Barrengos is currently senior vice president, director and partner at the San Francisco-based broker, Woodruff-Sawyer said in a statement. He will replace CEO Charlie Rosson, who announced his departure in September, according to a statement at the time.

“We believe that Andy is the ideal CEO to lead Woodruff-Sawyer forward,” Woodruff-Sawyer Chairman Stan Loar said in a statement. “He is a proven executive with deep industry experience, a passion for client service and superlative management skills.”

Woodruff-Sawyer is ranked 42 in the 2016 Business Insurance ranking of largest brokers of U.S. business with $103.1 million in brokerage revenues.

Mr. Barrengos is based in San Francisco.
