European risk management group names chiefReprints
VENICE, Italy – Typhaine Beauperin will replace Florence Bindelle as the leader of the Federation of European Risk Management Associations.
Ms. Beauperin most recently was senior European affairs adviser at Eurochambres, the association of European chambers of commerce and industry in Brussels. She will take on the new title of CEO of FERMA.
At FERMA's 2015 risk management forum in Venice, Italy, Monday, Julia Graham, president of FERMA, paid tribute to Ms. Bindelle, the executive director and first employee of FERMA, who is leaving after 16 years.
FERMA on Monday launched its professional certification program for risk managers in Europe, to be known as rimap.
FERMA awarded founder certification to more than 40 risk professionals who helped to create, develop and test the program.
FERMA also announced the creation of an award for young risk management professionals http://www.businessinsurance.com/article/20150209/NEWS06/150209835 in honor of Edwin V. Meyer, its secretary general who died in February.
