Admiral Insurance Co., a unit of Greenwich-based W.R. Berkley Corp., has named Steven S. Zeitman as its new president.
Mr. Zeitman succeeds James S. Carey, who passed away in April after a long illness, an Admiral spokeswoman said.
Mr. Zeitman, who has more than 40 years of experience in the property/casualty industry, previously was Cherry Hill, New Jersey-based Admiral Insurance’s chief operating officer.
He is based in Cherry Hill.
Admiral Insurance offers excess and surplus lines commercial insurance.
