Catlin Group Ltd. was the London market insurer that provided claims brokers the greatest net satisfaction with claims service and standards in 2014, according to a study by London-based Gracechurch Consulting.
Claims brokers were asked to rank their satisfaction with the level of service received from insurers operating in the London market on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is poor and 10 is excellent.
Gracechurch surveyed about 265 claims brokers.
According to the study, published Tuesday, the top performing quartile of London market companies ranked by net satisfaction with their claims service were: Catlin; Hiscox Ltd.; Beazley P.L.C.; ArgoGlobal; Canopius Group Ltd.; Amlin P.L.C.; Swiss Re Ltd.; and Tokio Marine Kiln Group Ltd.
Catlin Group Ltd. chief executive Stephen Catlin has said that the number of mergers and acquisitions among smaller insurers is likely to gather speed, reports Bloomberg.
