RIMS announces officers for 2015

The Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc. on Monday announced the officers of its board of directors for 2015.
Rick Roberts, director of risk management and employee benefits at Ensign-Bickford Industries Inc. in Simsbury, Connecticut, was tapped to lead the society as president for the 2015 term, effective Jan. 1. Mr. Roberts previously served as the society's vice president and board liaison to the RIMS External Affairs Committee.
“No two days as a risk professional are ever the same,” Mr. Roberts said in a statement. “RIMS' greatest asset is its members, an engaged and generous network of professionals who willingly share their experiences to help colleagues better prepare their organizations for the unknown.”
The other officers on RIMS' 2015 board of directors are Vice President Julie C. Pemberton, director of enterprise risk and insurance management at Outerwall Inc.; Treasurer Robert Cartwright Jr., safety and health manager at Bridgestone Retail Operations L.L.C.; and Corporate Secretary Jennifer Santiago, director of insurance at Novartis Corp.
