WASHINGTON — Montana State Auditor and Commissioner of Securities and Insurance Monica J. Lindeen has been elected 2015 president of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.

Ms. Lindeen, who served as the regulator group's president-elect, will succeed North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm.

Also elected at the NAIC's fall meeting in Washington on Wednesday were Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Michael F. Consedine as president-elect; Kentucky Insurance Commissioner Sharon P. Clark as vice president and Wisconsin Insurance Commissioner Ted Nickel as secretary/treasurer.

The new officers will assume their duties on Jan. 1.
