Andy Weitz will assume the new position of senior vice president of global marketing and communications of Aon P.L.C. effective Wednesday, Aon announced Tuesday.
Mr. Weitz, who will be based in London, will lead Aon’s external corporate communications and oversee corporate citizenship, according to an Aon statement. He also will be responsible for defining Aon’s content marketing strategy and building an integrated approach to product marketing.
Aon said that Mr. Weitz will report to Phil Clement, Aon’s global chief marketing and communications officer, and will serve as a member of Aon’s executive leadership team.
Mr. Weitz most recently served as Austin, Texas-based president and CEO of the U.S. region for Hill+Knowlton Strategies, a business advisory firm.
