OFF BEAT: Trump in a huff over campaign to get Macy's to fire him

Reality show host Donald Trump has his expensive knickers in a twist over a social media campaign that sought to pressure department store chain Macy's into dumping him as a spokesman.
A lawyer for Mr. Trump, Alan Garten, sent a letter in December 2012 to Angelo Carusone, who started a “Dump Trump” online campaign at SignOn.org.
The petition, which currently has 685,376 signatures, asks Macy's to sever ties with the oddly coiffed real estate mogul, citing a litany of “unpleasant, nasty and despicable” behavior.
The letter threatens Mr. Carusone as well as his “organization and co-conspirators” with a “major, multimillion-dollar lawsuit” unless he ceases the campaign.
