The Business Insurance ABSOLUTE INCLUSION Conference has been named the Chicago partner for Lloyd's of London's global “Dive In” Festival.

Now in its second year, Inclusion@Lloyd's launched the Dive In Festival to educate the insurance industry that diverse and inclusive workforces are critical to their business success. With four themed days in London in 2015 – Women In Insurance, Cultural DNA, LGBT and Workability – attendees worked to expand perspectives, share best practices and learn to embrace and embed diversity into everyday working life. In 2016, Dive In will be held across the globe with events held on four continents and 15 locations and expand content to include “Multigenerational Workplaces” and “Families and Careers.”

The Business Insurance ABSOLUTE INCLUSION Conference, which is being held September 28-29 at the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago, is a day and a half-long conference featuring compelling content and interactive exercises designed to educate the commercial risk and insurance industry on the benefits of creating a more diverse and inclusive workforce. Sessions will include a CEO panel addressing the business case for greater diversity and inclusion, best practice case studies, updates on supplier diversity initiatives, technology demonstrations and an interactive workshop to address unconscious bias.

As part of Lloyd's Dive-In, the Business Insurance ABSOLUTE INCLUSION Conference will feature a performance by Second City Works, an arm of the legendary Second City comedy club that provides diversity training to businesses and organizations. They will educate, entertain and generate insights with custom scenes, facilitated exercises that dig deeper into topics such as:

• Understanding The Key Elements of Diversity
• Recognizing the Value of an Inclusive/Diversity-informed Workforce
• Cultivating Diverse Mindsets for Managers

Following the performance, insurance professionals will be invited to the John Hancock's Signature Room on the 95th floor for a networking reception.
