Zurich Insurance Group has agreed to acquire Boxx Insurance Inc., the Toronto-based cyber insurtech announced Thursday.
Terms of the deal, which will see Boxx continue to operate as a standalone entity, were not disclosed.
Zurich has partnered with Boxx since 2021.
Founded in 2018, Boxx offers bundled cyber coverage and cyber protection tools and services. The insurtech raised $24.3 million across two funding rounds led by Zurich in 2021 and 2023.
