Industry Experience
A veteran of the captive insurance industry, Anne Marie Towle leads the Global Captive Solutions team at Hylant.
She has over 25 years of experience with diverse projects and has worked with captives and other alternative risk transfer vehicles in many key onshore and offshore domiciles. Prior to joining Hylant, Anne Marie was an Executive Vice President with JLT, and formerly a Senior Consultant with Willis Towers Watson for over 7 years. Anne Marie also spent time as a Senior Manager in public accounting and 10 years in taxation, where she provided consultancy services to captive owners.
Anne Marie managed client projects through feasibility and implementation processes in structuring captives and manage their accounting and tax compliance functions. Before that, for over 6 years, Anne Marie worked in private industry in the insurance tax departments of several Fortune 500 insurance and financial institution companies.

Throughout her career, Anne Marie has been closely involved in captive insurance organizations at the local, state and national level. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA), Vice-Chair for the North Carolina Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA), and the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE); the curriculum committee for ICCIE and an instructor for ICCIE courses; and the conference committees of the (2017 Chair) VCIA, Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA), World Captive Forum (WCF) and the South Carolina Captive Insurance Association (SCCIA).

Lori is a Senior Director in the Strategic Client Engagement Leader group at WTW. She has over 35 years of diversified experience in risk management and insurance. From 2005 to 2008 Lori was the Senior Risk Manager at Fannie Mae Housing and Community Development and responsible for risk and insurance oversight of their entire multifamily portfolio, including rewriting the insurance guide after Hurricane Katrina. From 1998 to 2004, she was part of a startup group that created the first end-to-end insurance quoting engine on the Internet.
Lori is a member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS). She served on the RIMS Board of Directors from 2011-2015. From 2008 – 2010, she served on the RIMS New York Chapter Board of Directors and as an active member of RIMS External Affairs Committee, participated in local, state and federal discussions on insurance and risk management. She worked with the office of Senator Schumer (D-NY) in the writing of the definition of a Qualified Risk Manager in the surplus lines legislation. She lobbied Capitol Hill during reauthorizations of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
Lori returned to the RIMS New York Chapter Board of Directors in 2018 and currently serves as their Chapter President. Lori is a former member of the Spencer Foundation Board of Directors where she served on the Scholarship Committee and Chair of the Risk Manager on Campus (RMOC) Committee. She is a frequent participant, moderator and panelist in industry conferences and has been quoted in industry publications such as Business Insurance, Zywave and more.
Lori earned the Bachelor of Science in Business from California State University at Northridge. She holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. Lori was honored by Business Insurance in 2015 as one of their Women to Watch. In 2022, she was honored by RIMS with the Ron Judd “Heart of RIMS” award.

Laura began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in mergers & acquisitions, financing transactions, and business reorganizations. She holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Accounting from the
University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Laura is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), Extraordinary Women on Boards (EWOB), and Women In Insurance (WII), where she leads the DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) committee.

Fabrice is Marsh McLennan CEO France since last January 2025 and also continue his responsibilities as CEO of Marsh France. He joined Marsh on September 5th, 2016, from AIG where, since November 2013, he has been serving as CEO of AIG France. He joined AIG in 2010 as CFO for emerging markets based in Madrid and in 2011; he was appointed Senior Vice President, Head of Financial Planning Analysis for AIG Property Casualty EMEA, based in London. With over 25 years of international and managerial experience including 10 years at General Electric, Fabrice has developed a broad range of expertise working within both the developed markets of Europe and the US, as well as in emerging markets. He was named “Young Leader 2015” by the French American Foundation and has been honored as one of the 100 economic young leaders of France by l’Institut Choiseul and Le Figaro Magazine in 2014. He is a board member of AMCHAM in France and the French American Foundation. Fabrice holds a master’s degree in finance with major in finance from ISEG and also followed the GE Executive Leadership Program.

She has a practitioner background in international insurance and risk management for a global insurance company and a global law firm.
She is a former President of FERMA the Federation of European Risk Management Associations, a current member of the Board of IFRIMA the International Federation of Risk Management Associations, an independent non-executive director on several boards for captive insurance companies, and a trustee for the whistleblowing charity Protect.
She is passionate about the risk management and insurance professions and promoting the exciting opportunities these have to offer for women, now and in the future.

Penny was appointed to the role of Group Chief Underwriting Officer in January 2023. She moved across to Switzerland in April 2021 as the Chief Underwriting Officer for EMEA. Prior to this, Penny was based in Hong Kong as the CEO of Zurich’s General Insurance business.
She has over 25 years of experience within both the Banking and Insurance industry and has lived and worked in South Africa (her home country), the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Hong Kong and now Switzerland. She currently serves as Chair of the Board for Blue Marble Microinsurance.

Marsh McLennan
Carolina Klint was appointed Chief Commercial Officer Europe for Marsh McLennan in April 2023. She leads initiatives to define and implement growth strategies that unlock Marsh McLennan’s full potential and support sales enablement, client management and technology innovation. Carolina is a member of the Marsh McLennan Europe Executive Committee and serves as the official Marsh McLennan spokesperson
for the Word Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report.
Carolina joined Marsh in 2017 as CEO of Marsh’s Northwest Europe Region and was then appointed Risk Management Leader for Europe in October 2020. Before joining Marsh she held several senior positions with AIG, most recently as President of its U.S. South Region, responsible for AIG’s Commercial Business in 11 states. Carolina has also held the position of Country CEO of AIG in Sweden and under her leadership, AIG was named Insurance Company of the Year at the 2013 Insurance Awards held by R&F, Sweden’s leading insurance publication.
Carolina speaks frequently about risk and resilience, change management, and the importance inclusive leadership as a keynote speaker, panelist, and guest lecturer. She has appeared on Swedish business weekly Veckans Affarer’s list as one of “The 125 Most Powerful Women in Business” for three consecutive years. In December 2013 Carolina was named honoree for the Business Insurance magazine’s Women to Watch and she is one of the co-authors of the book “Words of Wisdom from Women to Watch: Career Reflections from Leaders in the Commercial Insurance Industry” (Wiley 2016). Typhaine Beaupérin is Client Leader, Risk Management, Europe at Marsh, a role she assumed in June 2025. She is responsible for delivering tailored risk management solutions to clients across Europe, leveraging Marsh McLennan’s global capabilities and her deep industry expertise to foster stronger connections within the risk management community.
Prior to joining Marsh, Typhaine served for nearly a decade as CEO and Secretary General of the Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA). During her tenure, she played a central role in shaping FERMA’s strategic direction and strengthening the voice of European risk managers at both EU and international levels. She was also pivotal in enhancing FERMA’s advocacy efforts, leading initiatives that promoted risk-based approaches in key European legislation and reinforced the value of professional risk management across sectors.
Typhaine has held several senior advisory roles, including as Secretary General and Executive Council Member of the International Federation of Risk and Insurance Management Associations (IFRIMA) and as a Member of the Insurance and Reinsurance Stakeholder Group at the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA).
Her career began in EU public affairs in Brussels, where she spent a decade working at the intersection of business and European policymaking. She holds an Executive Master’s in International Association Management, a Master’s in European Public Affairs, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management.

Claire McDonald is CEO of Scor Business Solutions, a corporate insurance provider which she joined in September 2024. Prior to this appointment Claire was CUO for HDI Global SE responsible for Property, Engineering and Marine (appointed January 2022) having been responsible on joining HDI for UK and Ireland from March 2019. Before this she worked for over 30 years with Allianz in a mixture of underwriting and operations leadership roles, both on a local basis in UK and France and in more recent years in Global roles as Global Head of Operations and Global Practice Leader, Allianz Multinational). Claire is chair of the IUA, a Vice President of the Insurance Institute of London, an ambassador for the Insurance Supper Club (ISC) and a Court Assistant with the Worshipful Company of Insurers (chair of iWIN).
