South Korea-based Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Company Ltd. has acquired an additional 21% stake in Canopius Group Ltd., a Lloyd’s of London insurer, for $580 million, The Asia Business Daily reported. The purchase raises Samsung Fire’s ownership to 40%, making it the second-largest shareholder.
