Greece-based Piraeus Bank SA has completed its 600-million euro ($695 million) cash purchase of Ethniki Insurance’s parent company, Ethniki Holdings Sarl, Reinsurance News reported. The bank bought the stake from CVC Capital Partners Fund VII and the National Bank of Greece.
