Lockton Re, the reinsurance business of broker Lockton, on Friday named Robert Bisset as CEO, North America, and Nick Durant as global vice chairman, both effective from Feb. 1.
Mr. Bisset joined Lockton Re in 2021 as chairman, global retrocession and property specialty, Bermuda and market capital, and a member of the Lockton Re global executive committee. He succeeds Mr. Durant.
Mr. Durant was part of the founding group that launched Lockton Re in North America in 2019 as CEO, North America, and a member of the global executive committee.
He will focus on capital solutions, global account growth, and the development of emerging global segments in this newly created role as global vice chairman.
