Lockton announced Monday it appointed Jake Byrne practice leader for U.S. marine risks and liability.
Mr. Byrne succeeds Jana Byron, who died in August.
Mr. Byrne, based in Tampa, Florida, previously held a dual role as vice president in the global marine practice and as a representative of PL Ferrari, which Lockton acquired in 2020.
Before joining Lockton in 2020, Mr. Byrne was a vice president at Aon where he focused on complex international marine accounts.
