Generali posts $3.7 billion profit

Italy-based Assicurazioni Generali SpA recorded a net profit of 3.2 billion euros ($3.7 billion) for the first nine months of 2025, up 8% year on year due to lower natural catastrophe losses, Morningstar reports, citing Dow Jones. Gross written premiums grew 4% to €73 billion, while Generali’s combined operating ratio improved to 92%.
