Elevance unit plans to buy CareBridge

Elevance Health’s Carelon plans to acquire CareBridge, a Nashville-based provider of value-based home and community care for patients with chronic needs, Becker’s Payer Issues reports. Elevance’s CEO, Gail Boudreaux, emphasized that this acquisition will bolster Carelon’s home health business and enhance its ability to manage health care spending, ultimately benefiting health plan customers.
