The Business Insurance Diversity & Inclusion Institute Conference is produced annually to educate professionals throughout the commercial insurance industry about the business case for diversity and inclusion. The theme of the 2017 conference is: “Maximize Your Bottom Line: How Inclusive Cultures Pay Off.” It will address ways insurers, brokers and other industry organizations can create more inclusive work environments that foster greater employee productivity, improve customer engagement and enhance profitability. Attendees also will learn how to develop cultural competence to succeed in today’s global marketplace. Created with input from corporate risk managers—the industry’s target market—the conference also will feature panel discussions on what buyers seek from their insurance industry partners and what industry service providers are doing to meet those demands. Other sessions will feature key learnings from companies that have been identified as among the “Best Places to Work for Diversity & Inclusion.”
