Axa XL said Monday it promoted Rob Malone to U.S. head of cyber, effective immediately.
Mr. Malone will lead operations across the company’s U.S. cyber insurance portfolio, focusing on product innovation, strategic partnerships and team development.
Based in New York, he will continue to report to Michelle Chia, Axa XL’s chief underwriting officer for cyber, select and design professional.
Mr. Malone had been head of large accounts and portfolio management since January 2025.
Before Axa XL, he was vice president and head of middle markets for professional liability and cyber at Zurich North America.
