Mapfre Re’s premiums grow 7%

Spanish insurer Mapfre SA’s reinsurance unit Mapfre Re’s premiums grew by 7% year-on-year to nearly €2.2 billion ($2.4 billion) in the first quarter of this year, Reinsurance News reported. Net profit grew twofold to €67.3 million.
