6.3-magnitude earthquake jolts Taiwan

China’s Central Weather Administration said that a series of earthquakes hit Taiwan’s capital Taipei on April 23, with the strongest quake reported at 6.3-magnitude, Hindustan Times reported citing Agence France-Presse. The country was also hit by a powerful 7.4-magnitude quake on April 3, which caused massive disruption and damage across the region.
